Royal Canin Canada with a Giveaway **Closed**

We received the neatest product from Royal Canin! We got whats called a Discovery Pack, its basically 3 sample sized bags of food, all with matching bowls and info! Basically you put each type of food in its specially marked bowl and then put them all out together and see what your cat does.

Basically cats have three essential factors when choosing what type of food they prefer. Aromatic selection, the brown bowl, mouth feel, the pink bowl, and post-ingestion sensation, the orange bowl.

Our cat, Nibbles, sniffed them all out and then went right to the brown bowl and chowed down. After she had enough she had a few pieces from the pink bowl and only smelled the orange bowl! It was so funny to me how she really did have a preference. We usually only buy what is cheap but also a good food. Her food changes really quite often and while some don't agree with that, its what we do. Once the brown bowl was all done she went back and forth with the pink and orange bowls eating most of the pink bowl first!

Once they were both eaten down a bit I combined them both into her regular bowl and then she ate the last of it all combined together! I bought some new food later that week and she ate that too. That's one of the things I love about our cat. She will eat anything although it is very clear to me now that she does have preferences when I thought that she didn't!
