Pur Alternatives

When it comes to buying personal care products – you know, all the lovely things we use to clean ourselves, moisturize with, etc. – there are so many options available. But do you know how difficult it is to find products that don’t have at least one ingredient that is linked to some harmful health or environmental effect?

Have you ever picked up one of these products and tried to read the ingredient list, realizing that there are many ingredients that you either can’t pronounce or simply don’t really know what they are (or why they’re there)?

Here at pūr alternatives we noticed just that, and decided to get to the bottom of it. It turns out there are many products out there that are perfectly safe and still work beautifully. But for some reason they are still few and far between. There was no one-stop-shop for truly safe products! Until now.

Fed up with this situation, we decided to do something about it, and so pūr alternatives was born. A place where you don’t have to read the labels and understand what the contents are (but are highly encouraged to do so), where you don’t have to ask questions (but if you have any- please do!) and where, most importantly, a wide variety of truly safe products can all be found in one convenient location.

I was sent a few products to try out from Pur Alternatives and was thrilled with all of them! They sent me some facial cream from Pangea Organics, its called Moroccan Argan with Willow and Rosemary! Its not on the site yet but will be soon. Its all natural and so nice to put on after my shower. It goes on nice and smooth, very slippery feeling and absorbs in really fast and then you can't even tell you have anything on!

I also got some soap, one from Pangea Organics and one from Rocky Mountain Soap Company. The Oatmeal and Honey soap from Rocky Mountain Soap Company is so nice for even my very sensitive skin. It rinses away nicely and is nice and fresh and natural! For the Pangea Organics soap I got the Indian Green Tea with Mint and Rose Petals. Its really a nice soap and although it costs twice as much as the Rocky Mountain Soap it is a bit bigger and is just as nice and comes in a special package. The seed-infused carton is 100% biodegradable and can be planted directly in soil to grow your own herbs! How cool is that!If you are looking for any sort of natural product for you, your body, your pets, your kids or even your house you need to check out Pur Alternatives!

I am such a huge fan of their 'store' (now online, but hopefully soon back to being real life').

I especially like their black soap stuff, but really it's so nice to not have to worry about products when you shop there.
