Rocky Mountain Kid with a Giveaway **Closed**

Rocky Mountain Kid was created in 2008. After the arrival our daughter Cadence we wanted to continue our outdoor pursuits and share the fun with her too. It took us some time, and trips to many different retailers to find the right gear for our adventures. We thought wouldn't it be great if parents could find all this great gear in one place, and so Rocky Mountain Kid was born. Rocky Mountain Kid's goal is to provide you with quality clothing and accessories necessary for your active children. At RMK, we strive to make your online shopping experience a quick and pleasurable one, so you can get back outside to play.

My kids have all of the UV wear they need but what Brandon didn't have was any sunglasses. Check out what I learned from Rocky Mountain Kid!!

Children’s eyes do not yet have a mature capacity for ocular protection; it takes about 25 years to develop. In the meantime, UV rays are permanently breaking down the eye’s capacity to absorb sunlight. Exposure without protection is dangerous for the surface of the eye, as well as for the crystalline lens and retina. Between the ages of 3 and 10, children are extremely active and they need sunglasses that can take a lot of knocks while still looking cool and providing great eye protection. At Julbo, every model of kids sunglasses is designed to improve protection, hold firm on the face in all conditions, and ensure absolute comfort and total functionality. When it comes to children, Julbo believes the world needs their vision. All Julbo lenses are optical class 1, which offer 100% protection against UVA, B and C rays.

Its just as important to put sunscreen on your kids as it is to put sunglasses on them. If you protect your own eyes then why not your kids? Brandon had a pair of sunglasses last year but he was to small to keep them on, I should of had the ones with the strap and so he just played with them and then broke them. I have to say that I was a little bit worried about giving these glasses to Brandon because well, hes a boy and hes two! I thought he would end up braking them!
We have had the sunglasses for about 2 weeks and Brandon wears them everyday. With the hot weather lately we spend most of everyday outside. He keeps them on a lot better than I had originally expected. Once we are outside and they are on, he forgets about them for the most part. He does play with them a bit of course, they have held up so well. They still look brand new and should last him for a few years until he needs a bigger pair!

I love them and couldn't be happier with them. They had 6 colors to choose from and I choose the chocolate/lime and its so cute on him. Matches everything and is very boy looking!

Do you want to win a pair of Julbo sunglasses for your child? They come in sizes NB to 10 years!
