Happy Green Bee with Giveaway **Closed**

Happy Green Bee sells some adorable organic cotton clothing for kids! There mission is to create cheerful gender-free organic kids clothing with sustainable earth friendly manufacturing practices in an effort to meet and increase the demand for organic children's clothing that not only looks and feels great but is contributing in positive ways to the welfare of our planet.

Why Buy Organic?

Cotton clothing retains harmful toxic residues, often causing rashes and eczema on sensitive skin

Clothing made with organically grown cotton does not retain toxic residues; it is a pure, natural, and breathable fiber.

Cotton occupies only 3% of the world's farmland, but uses 25% of the world's chemical pesticides. Worldwide, 25 to 75 million agricultural workers suffer from acute pesticide poisoning.

Organically grown cotton is not treated with pesticides.

Petroleum based hydrocarbons (chemical fertilizers) are intensively applied to cotton crops to artificially speed up and otherwise "enhance" the plant's growth cycle and productivity. The runoff of these compounds pollutes our watersheds and food chains.

Organically grown cotton does not use petroleum-based fertilizers.

Genetically modified seed accounts for 75% of conventionally grown cotton. We can only speculate about the unintended and unforeseen consequences of genetic engineering.

Organically grown cotton does not use genetically engineered seed.

Happy Green Bee clothing says "safe and sustainable, soft and stretchy, super-silly, simply sensational styles!" I have to agree!

We got to try out the long sleeve tee in large, 2-3, and in the chocolate and bean colors. I love this t shirt. Its soft and has fun colors. When washed it hardly shrunk at all, at a size 2-3 it will definitely fit him all fall and winter, maybe longer. I also love that their clothes, so many of them anyways, are gender neutral. I love that you can use it for your first child and save it for your next and next and then pass it down to someone else. I definitely don't mind paying more for clothing that is high quality and going to last.

Don't get me wrong, Happy Green Bee has very reasonable priced clothes but did you know that they have a factory store? I just took a look and they have a dress for $7 and a tee shirt for $5! You can't get clothes that cheap at the big box stores very often.
