Watkins - Have you tried it?

I have heard of Watkins as I am sure many of you have but have you ever tried it? All I had ever tried was the hand lotion that my mother in law had picked up at a garage sale, sealed, last Summer. When I had the chance to try some of the Watkins products out I was very excited!

Nestled in the Mississippi River Bluff town of Winona, MN., Watkins has been America’s pioneer in natural living since 1868. As America’s original natural apothecary manufacturer, Watkins uses only the finest natural ingredients in its diverse lines of personal care, home care, remedies and organic flavorings. Committed to being America’s most trusted natural products company, Watkins adheres strictly to the same quality standards set forth by its founder J.R. Watkins. Its J.R. Watkins Natural Apothecary line of personal care contains only natural, environmentally friendly ingredients from renewable resources, avoiding chemicals like parabens, sulfates, phthalates and more and is one of very few lines to be certified by the Natural products Association.

The cough medicine didn't taste like a Bucklys but didn't taste good! It worked awesome, which is why we still use it but it sure wasn't yummy! The BBQ Seasoning blend smells sooo good and is great on chicken, steak and even the potatoes! I haven't made the garden vegetable dip but its great to use as flavour in almost anything! We like it in mashed potatoes, on roasted potatoes, rice and even more!!! Something that I love about the Watkins spices is that you don't just have to use them how they recommend. Don't get me wrong, they have a great recipe and ideas but you aren't limited to just that! You can do almost anything with them!

If you haven't checked out Watkins yet I recommend you check out the site and then contact Darlene and she can hook you up! You can also do Watkins Party to earn free product, you can also just get all your friends to check it out and put an order in together so that you can save $ that way and have an online party ;) If you check it out let me know what you try!

Their cinnamon and pepper are the best. I also like the Mandarin Orange Fruit Dip when they have it. I mix it with vanilla yogurt for an easy fruit dip.
