No Feathers Please with a giveaway **Closed**

Owner and operator Deb Schlehuber has been on a long and winding road in creating and starting this website. Looking back, it seems the call to organic living had been there for years, especially while trying to create a more restful and clean sleeping environment to lessen allergy problems. Or as Deb stated, “I was just looking for a way to put it all together and that’s when No Feathers Please was hatched”.

In her other, current work life as Flight Attendant, Deb has spent many years having to sleep on less than the healthiest bedding and in rooms that are not always dust free. More than ready to enjoy a good’s nights rest in a clean healthy bedroom environment back at home, Deb started on a quest to find bedding that was not only free of down and feathers, but also hypoallergenic, healthy, safe and organic for folks that suffer from allergies or just want to be free of the mass produced and chemically laden sheets, pillows, blankets and comforters that so many of us sleep on each night.

As she found out, there are lots of “sort of” organic bedding lines out there and many are not completely or truly organic, natural, chemical and pesticide free, or they had those darn feathers and down in them. Often they came from places that did not always practice and maintain healthy or environmentally sound growing, harvesting or manufacturing standards. It took some time, but Deb has found several wonderful, all natural, truly organic, safe and pure lines of bedding. Not only are they certified organic but manufactured to the highest standards of testing and safety available today. Kris is allergic to feathers so that means no feather bedding for us. I love that I found a site out there that is dedicated to bath and bedroom products that are feather free. No Feathers Please carries every sort of bedding you can think of, plus towels, pet beds, sheets, and robes. The quality of their items is great. You can really tell there products will stand up to the test of time. Their products are organic and that is huge. When you spend 1/3 of your life in bed why wouldn't you want your bed to be one of the most natural and chemical free part of your home. No Feathers Please sent me two organic bath towels to review and I am in love. They are a great size, so soft, and just getting softer every time I was them! Kris and I love them. They are the first towels I go for and as soon as they are washed they go right back up. They are in a Sage green, nice and light, so they go with most decors because they are nice and neutral.
