Mountain Farm Soap

Mountain Farms Soap is a small, home based business, (founded in 2001), where all personal care products are Handmade on our Country Farm. We are dedicated to providing personal body care products that combine luxury with affordability. We are part of a growing consumer market, where customer's are becoming more aware of the ingredients that they put on their bodies. Mountain Farms Soap, is founded on the idea that satisfied customers are essential. We strive to make product's that are not only good for you, but help to uplift or relax the senses.

Our soaps are made the old fashioned way, using the time honored Cold Process Method. We have used only the finest vegetable oils, butters, clays, botanicals and essential oils, to create these soaps. All of our soaps contain 100% of their natural glycerin, leaving your skin clean and soft. Our Nearly Natural Soaps are made the way as our Natural Soaps, the exception is, we have used a very high quality fragrance oil, in place of an essential oil, so these soaps are about 98% natural. All of our soaps are hand cut, and weigh approx 100 - 115 grams.

I love natural soaps, my shower is kind of my only time to myself, other than nap time when I am cleaning, so I love to use a nice natural, moisturizing, yummy smelling soap for my 5 minutes alone! I also have eczema which thrown into the mix can make it a lot harder for me to find soaps that I like and that like me.

Mountain Farm Soaps has a huge variety of soaps to choose from as well as shampoos, liquid soaps, essential oils and more! We got to try out a few different samples of soaps and they were so nice. They smelled amazing, the fresh mint was my favorite one! None of their soaps bothered my eczema so I will sure be back for more! Be sure to check them out here!

Schleich with a giveaway **Closed**

We, the Schleich Company, are a renowned manufacturer of toy figures. Our Smurfs series and lifelike animal replicas have made us famous around the world. Our goal is to continuously create, with great care and attention to detail, new play worlds to fuel the imagination of girls and boys throughout the world. These Schleich play worlds comprise "World of Nature" with the categories "Farm Life" and "Wild Life", "World of History" and "World of Fantasy". A tremendous variety of lovingly fashioned figures and accurately detailed accessories can be found under all of these headings. Our product range currently includes more than twenty breeds of horse, mostly as family sets, far more than a dozen dinosaurs and an enormous variety of other animals. Discover the many fantastic new products and the exciting Schleich play worlds.

Brandon has really gotten into playing with little animals and people. He loves them, he is learning all of the animal names and sounds and loves to sit and make the sounds and have them all play together! Its so cute. I still can't believe how many differences there are between boys and girls. Kristina never used to play with animals to much, she did little bits but was more into playing dress up, princess, and having tea parties.

Schleich sent him a Knight with a Sword on Horseback, Halberdier, a Foot Soldier with stone, and Sentry. He loves to play with them. They are a great size, not really small but not huge. The guys are about 3" tall and the horse is about 3" tall and 5" long. All of their little accessories like swords and shields are attached to them which is great because then you don't loose them all and have some boring guys sitting around with nothing to do.

You can really tell how good of quality they are right away. They are not flimsy and going to fall apart. They are even a little on the heavy side. When you pick them up you notice that they aren't like the cheap dollar store ones, they have some weight to them, enough so that its really going to hurt if you step on them. They are also very detailed. For something that's only a few inches tall it has so many details. Schleich has really taken their time in researching what the correct things are for the toys to have on them and are very realistic, they are not just generic cowboys and soldiers, they are wearing what our old solders wore and used, its really cool!

I already have a handful more Schleich toys picked out for Brandon for Christmas, hes going to get some dinosaurs and maybe some more people and some farm and wild animals. I love that they will last him many years as its not something that he would quickly grow out of and that they aren't unaffordable either!

Schleich has offered up the same toys that I got, the Knight with Sword on Horseback, the Halberdier, Foot Soldier with stone, and Sentry, for one lucky winner!

Peace Love Organic Earth with a giveaway **Closed**

When Beth (the owner of Peace Love Organic Earth) had her first child she did what so many of us did. She went out and bought organic bath wash, shampoo's and moisturizers and found out later than even though they were organic she was basically rubbing chemicals all over her daughter! She struggled, like we have, in finding products that are actually safe for our kids. Just because its organic doesn't necessarily mean that its free of harmful chemicals.

Beth decided to open up Peace Love Organic Earth to help you find products that would ultimately be safe for you and your family! She carries a variety of cuddle toys as well as the amazing Schlori swim cushions.

Schlori swim cushions have been around since 1936 and I couldn't believe that I had never heard of them. They started in Germany and have an amazing story about how they came to be! Check it out here! Brandon got a pair to try out and was I ever impressed! He loves to swim and be in the water, he was born a water baby. If you say bath he will run into the bathroom and start taking off his clothes!

We were going to use them the other day at Kristina's school swim, we all got to go to the outdoor pool and she got to swim with her class. Brandon and I went in and without really reading the instructions to well I tried to find the opening to blow the air into the cushions. They need to be wet to retain the air so I got them all wet and couldn't figure out how to fill them with air. As it turns out there is no hole or place to blow the air in, you blow it in through the fabric. You know how wet sheets can get a bubble of air in them when you wash them and it doesn't come out? This is the same theory. Basically you wet the cushions down and fold a corner in and then with your thumbs in the corner you blow them full of air.

These are not arm floaters either. There is a strap that goes around the child's torso and the cushions go just behind their arms on their back. The perfect place to help them learn to swim. The cushions keep you afloat and are out of your way so that you can learn how to swim properly and do all of the strokes! This is really an amazing product and you really need to check it out!!!

*** This is not a lifesaving device and you need to closely monitor your children while in any body of water ***

Peace Love Organic Earth has offered up another pair of Schlori swim cushions to one very lucky winner!

Babibu

Babibu was created by designer, Sarah Lopez, shortly after giving birth to her son, Joshua, in March 2009. After realizing that it was nearly impossible to find baby clothing that was eco-friendly, comfortable and trendy, Sarah began to design her own clothing for her son, with the hopes of embodying all of these qualities. Sarah soon learned that she wasn't the only mom who yearned for better babywear, and that a union of quality, fashion, and the environment was in high demand! She became so passionate about her plight to improve the world of baby couture that she opened her own company with her talented seamstress mother-in-law, Beatriz. And just like that, babibu was born.

Sarah uses her experience as a mom to guide her designs in regard to the quality, colour, shape, size and style of each piece in her collection. She has done a significant amount of research to ensure that her clothing is made with the best quality bamboo fabrics, in the trendiest colours and styles, that fit the average sized baby to perfection! Each and every piece of clothing is designed and handmade in Toronto, Canada where Sarah lives with her husband and son.

We guarantee that all of our products are handmade in Canada using the highest quality bamboo fabrics we could find! We can't wait for you and your baby to feel how soft and luxurious our fabrics truly are!

Babibu is basically your one stop shop for all you baby's bamboo basics. No prints, no patterns, no embroidery, just basic, amazingly soft, bamboo basics. They have hats, onsies, pants, t shirts, pj's and more. You really can't believe just how soft these are until you feel them for yourself. They are amazing. I really love Bamboo and wish that we had more of it, all of us. It keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, its antimicrobial and best of all one of the most sustainable resources out there. It grows without any help from pesticides or fertilizers and can grow 4 feet in just one day! For more info on bamboo see here.

Brandon got to try out the onsie in 24 months and brown, it comes in a variety of colors, and the only things that he can get into in 24 months is shorts because hes so skinny. I was so surprised that this fit him, even after washing and drying. It has room to grow and is my new go to pj's for him for the summer. He can sleep in just that on warm nights and it also keeps him from getting at his diaper which I know his sister did when she was that age.

I love this onsie and wish that I knew about his store when he was smaller so that we could have gotten so much more for him. Check out Babibu, you won't be disappointed! You can even use code FUNKYMOM to get 30% off!

Sorbee with a giveaway **Closed**

Sorbee was kind enough to send me some candy to review. Now if you know me at all you would know that I LOVE candy. Candy and chocolate are my favourite things to eat! Seriously! And for beverages I love Crystal Light Raspberry Ice and diet cola. When I learned they had a Crystal Light candy, hard ones and soft ones I was pretty excited! They are delicious and available in Canada! That's great because lots of great stuff is only in the US - but don't worry its there too!

Sorbee sent me hard and soft Crystal Light candy, some Dream bars, and some Country Time Lemonade candy. It was all so good! We gave my dad a bag of the Country Time Lemonade candy because he loves Country Time lemonade and he loved it too! The candies are all individually wrapped so they are great to stash in your purse, car and pocket for when you need a sweet pick me up or even after a meal.

The Crystal Light candy is sugar free, just like the drink, so its great for diabetics and those who don't want so much sugar in their diet. Keep in mind though it does have aspartame in it though so you don't want to eat to many ;) The kids love knowing there is a bowl of candy in the cupboard and my hubby always carries a handful in his pocket at work! Check them out if you are looking for a great new candy to try out!

The Dream Bar is a great alternative to a chocolate bar. If you need a sweet chocolate pick me up the Dream Bar could do the trick for you. With only 3 grams of fat and 90 calories it does the trick although it doesn't taste the same as a chocolate bar but when it has 1/3 or 1/4 of the fat and calories its definitely good!

Sorbee has even offered up a giveaway of Crystal Light Hard and Chewy Candy,
Dream Bar and the Country Time Lemonade Candy to one very lucky winner!

Kuki Kids with a giveaway **Closed**

Arn't all kids Kuki Kids? My kids sure are! Kuki Kids was born out of the desire to make bold and funky clothes for little kids. Simple garment designs let the fabrics speak for themselves and let your little adventurer stand out in the crowd. Quality and attention to detail are foremost in the Kuki philosophy.

The kids both got a set of the Kuki Kids pajamas and they are so flipping cute! Kuki Kids carries all sorts of great products for kids. They have pajamas of course, pants, leggings, dresses, tops, jackets, bibs and hair ties just to name a few. The prints are so fun and funky yet very simple. The pajamas Brandon got are blue stripped on the bottom and then a plain white tee on top with sleep written on it. Kristina's were a crazy floral pink pattern on the bottom and a plain white tee with zzzzz on it! They are so cute and very unique. They don't look like all of the licenced ones out there and are fun enough that even I would wear them.

The feature I have learned to always look for on pajamas is to have cuffs on the bottom of the pants. More so for Brandon than Kristina. This way I can put him in a size to big and they don't cause him to trip over himself and then they last so much longer. The pants in these pajamas though fit great but the shirt seems like a size larger than the pants, even Kristina's. However the pants could also be capris for the girls which is great as well. I would recomend ordering a size up and then shrinking the shirt unless you are ok with it being a bit big like I am.

Kuki Kids has offered up any girls dress or boys pant to one lucky winner and 10% off any purchase with code blog10 ! Be sure to check them out on Facebook!

Parrot Giveaway **Closed**

I just got a new cell phone and its so nice. The phone I just got rid of was an old pay as you go phone and it didn't have any features at all. Its so nice to finally have a phone that can do something other than call people, even though that's their main purpose. When I contacted Parrot I had no intent of getting a new phone and because my phone didn't have bluetooth capabilities I gave the MINIKIT SLIM to my girlfriend. The MINIKIT SLIM by Parrot is a bluetooth hands free car device and she was thrilled. Her husband works out of town for 4 days a week so he is using his cell all the time. He has a 2 1/2 hour or so commute from here to where he works so he does a lot of talking while driving. He loves the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM, here is what his wife thought of it.

"Because my husband drives about 600km on a remote highway each week using a bluetooth device is the perfect solution to ease my constantly worying mind. I can call for a quick check-in and he can also use the voice activation to call me without removing his hands from the wheel. The parrot is a speaker that attatches to your visor and the sound quality is great! It is really easy to use and we had it hooked up and synched with his cell phone in a matter of minutes."

Parrot sells all sorts of different bluetooth units and accessories. Parrot first started up in 1994 and has over 450 employees. They are doing well and its no wonder why with all of their great reliable products.

They have the Parrot MINIKIT SLIM that we got, they have bluetooth devices and speakers for ipods and ipod touches. They even have digital picture frames. If that wasn't enough Parrot has offered up a all black Minikit Slim like I got to one lucky winner!

Bugalug

Here is a little bit about Bugalug:

Of course, like most products, Bugalug Barrettes were born out of a need. There were so few cute barrettes out there and nothing that would stay in my friends newborn’s hair. Together we tried many different styles, ribbons, clips etc. and this was the best product we could make. We loved the idea that they were safe (non-toxic glue), super cute and yet not too cutesy, and that they stayed where they were put! And Bugalug Barrettes was born.

Initially I started promoting the barrettes at trade shows and craft fairs within Calgary. The response was overwhelming! Mom’s LOVED the simple designs, the trendy colors and the exceptional value. By January they had caught the eye of a few retailers and within 4 months we were in over 95 stores across Canada!

We are continuously working on new colors, new products and new ways to improve our products and our brand. If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear them! Keep your eyes out for more fabulous Bugalug products over the next 6 months.

We got to try out some hair accessories for Kristina and a belt for Brandon from Bugalug. We were thrilled when the package came and the kids got to see all of their fun little goodies! Brandon loved his belt, and I love that it keeps his pants up and is super cute at the same time. Being so skinny its hard to find cute and functional belts for toddlers. This one was great but Kristina wouldn't wear it because its made of vinyl and she didn't like it.

She did love her hair accessories though. She has crazy curly wild hair and its nice for her to be able to just pop something in and have it out of her face. Bugalug also carries soother clips, handmade cards and more. Be sure to check them out when you are needing to accessorize your kids and use code FUNKY to get 10% off!!

Baby Butterfly Boutique with a giveaway **Closed**

My kids are skinny, always have been, except when they were little babies. Pants have always been hard for us, even when Kristina was little. They just have such small waists that its hard to find pants that stay up. Even once they hit size 2 and they have the adjustable waist it doesn't always go tight enough or the little buttons dig into their sides and are uncomfortable. Usually Brandon just wears yoga pants because they stay up, most of them, and are much more comfortable. When we want to put him in pants or jeans we need a belt.

Baby Butterfly Boutique has just started carrying some gorgeous leather belts for kids with buckles. Kris wears belt buckles and I love the look of them. They are so cute and you can get them in so many different designs. We choose the tractor to go with Brandon's black leather belt from Baby Butterfly Boutique and I couldn't be happier with it. The belt is sized 4-8 years so it will last him a really long time and with the neutral colors you don't need more than one belt. You can get more buckles though to change things up. The size is great too, its a bit big for Brandon, for some reason I thought it was 2-8 and at almost 8 it fits Kristina great.

They have some cute options, I want the skull and crossbones one next ;) The buckles are made of zinc for durability, in Canada using environmentally-friendly processes & materials, and using lead-free metals and epoxy paints and/or solvent-free sprays. The leather belts are 1/8” thick and 1” wide made in Canada using the natural process of vegetable tanning and double-snap closure for buckle attachment. With 7 hole adjustments to grow with your child and smooth burnished belt edges this belt is gorgeous and durable – made to last!

The Baby Butterfly Boutique also carries tutus, clothing, diaper bags and so much more. Be sure to check them out!

Baby Butterfly Boutique has also offered up any one belt and buckle to one lucky winner!

Clementine Art with a giveaway **Closed**

I am not your typical artsy mom who does crafts all day and loves to do them. I am more of the mom who does crafts sometimes because I feel guilty that my kids don't do them everyday and that I might mess them up by not letting them go crazy with paint and glue. I have a few go to crafts, well you might not call them crafts but I do. We color, we do play dough and we paint. Now I know your thinking but paint is messy, but its so fun for them and I have figured out how to contain it.

We paint naked, well the kids do lol, we only use natural and washable paints and I try not to stress. As soon as we are done we get straight into the bath, get all cleaned up and then we can admire there great work. I still don't love it but I certainly don't hate it anymore, I wished that I loved it but I am getting there! When looking for new natural paints, play dough and more I stumbled across Clementine Art. They have paint, crayons, markers, modeling dough, glue and more. And its all natural!!!

Natural. Fresh. Real.
Clementine Art introduces a new way of doing art with children. Our inviting open ended materials encourage children to create real art. Our fresh and natural art supplies support the healthy development of your child.

Clementine is art you can feel good about. Our high quality art supplies are all natural, certified non toxic, and environmentally friendly. Clementine packaging is made from 80% post consumer recycled and reusable materials.

We got to try out the natural paint from Clementine Art. You are getting such a great deal at only $13.99. Its all natural, great colors, and above all safe. With kids you just don't know what they are going to do when your not looking or even when you are looking for that matter. Does finger painting turn into a little finger lick or gluing turn into liking fingers trying to get the glue off? With Clementine Art you don't have to worry about that.

They used Mayan mineral pigments to color the paint and are free of chemical dyes and petrochemicals. If you think about what you are paying for junky paint this really isn't much more at all and your piece of mind is priceless!

tomat with a Giveaway **Closed**

tomat is a healthy blend of cool, fun and flavour created to satisfy parents and children's hunger for something different. With a laugh tomat reminds us not to take life to seriously.....yet tomat cares about comfort and conscience. Made with 100% cotton, the shirts of tomat are homegrown and sweatshop free. tomat is pure goodness for your funky little monkey.

We were sent a bicycle tee for Brandon and its adorable. So soft and such a simple but really cute design. What boy doesn't love bicycles? Brandon loves any sort of bike and he loves this shirt. The size is great and fits him beautifully. Of course I went with one of the organic tees, I am like that you know. Check out the gorgeous organic dresses they have!

tomat carries from newborn all the way up to size xs which is about a 5/6. They have a large selection of the cutest tees and hoodies, dresses and onsies! There are so many things I would love to get from tomat and their prices are very reasonable too! The one thing I would like to see with tomat is some pants! I love finding nice cozy soft organic pants for Brandon as he tends to live in sweats so if tomat made those I would be super pleased!

Thermos with a giveaway **Closed**

Who has not heard of Thermos. They are huge in the market of coffee cups, water bottles, Thermos's, lunch storage, and so much more. When they came out with their line of sippy cups about two years ago I loved them. They were gorgeous and kept the fluids cold. In the Summer especially that is a great feature. They don't leak and they are nice looking!

When I had the chance to work with Thermos I was pretty excited. I have always loved there products and have never been let down. Thermos sent me some of their sippy cups, straw cups, which are Brandon's new favorite, and some food containers. They have licenced products as well as unlicensed. Kristina was thrilled with her Hannah Montana and Brandon didn't care at this point what was on his he just loved that he got a straw one although he regularly uses the sippy.

Kristina doesn't have access to a microwave at school so its nice to be able to send something hot in the morning and have it still be nice and warm come lunch time. I also enjoy that her water stays nice and cold for her, she is like me and prefers to drink her water cold. Brandon's cups also stay cold and it will be perfect for the Summer when we are outside all day and he won't have warm juice in 20 minutes with it sitting in the sun.

Thermos has been around since 1904 and are a very reliable and trustworthy company. You know that when you buy a Thermos product that it is great quality and built to last!

Thermos has offered up a foogo sippy, lunch kit, and funtainer set (bottle and food container) to one lucky winner! You can choose girl or boy!

To Enter:

Go to Thermos and tell me what design or product catches your eye

How Much is it Worth to Keep a Secret?

One lucky Canadian will find out with the “Caramilk Key to the Secret”

Would you keep a secret for $250,000? What if it’s the Caramilk Secret?

This summer, Caramilk will put you to the test by giving you the chance to become the Protector of the Caramilk Secret. All you have to do is find one of ten golden keys hidden in a Caramilk bar… somewhere in Canada! For more than 40 years, Caramilk has vigorously guarded the mystery of how they get the soft, flowing caramel into the Caramilk bar. Now, they are challenging you with the best test ever: up to $250,000† to protect the Caramilk Secret for six months and ensure one of Canada’s most beloved secrets remains a secret.

But Can Canadians Protect a Secret?

The Caramilk Secret-Keeping Survey**, conducted by Angus Reid for Caramilk, has found that eight per cent of Canadians don’t trust anyone with deep secrets... not our best friends, our spouses or even our therapists! Amazingly, the same number – eight per cent – would tell a complete stranger intimate details of a secret. The survey also showed four percent of Canadians can’t keep a secret for longer than a few weeks, if at all!

So, will the Caramilk Secret stay safe? Can Cadbury trust a Caramilk-lover with a secret that is a Canadian treasure? Absolutely! Caramilk has confidence in Canadians’ secret-keeping skills. “There’s always been a great mystery around Caramilk and we want to put Canadians’ secret-keeping abilities to the test and find the ultimate Protector of the Caramilk Secret,” says Mackenzie Davison, Director, Every Day Chocolate, Cadbury. “And who would be better than someone who truly loves Caramilk? We know it can be daunting but we have faith in our Caramilk lovers to overcome the temptation.”

The Search for 10 Caramilk Golden KeysCaramilk has randomly hidden 10 golden keys inside Caramilk bars. The 10 lucky Canadians who find the keys will take a trip to the Cadbury Chocolate Factory in Toronto. For the person whose key unlocks the famous Caramilk Vault, he or she could become the Protector of the Caramilk Secret and win† $125,000†. Another $125,000† will be awarded when the Caramilk Secret is safely returned in six months, unopened & untouched.

Keep Tabs on the Caramilk Secret* KeeperWhere and when will the keys be found? Who will become the Protector of the Caramilk Secret? Follow the adventure at http://www.caramilk.ca/, on facebook.com/caramilk or on Twitter at @caramilksecret.

“Did you hear...”

Need to tell a secret, but don’t know who to trust? Here are some great Canadian secret facts uncovered by the Caramilk Secret-Keeping Survey:

· Canadians trust their secrets most to their best friends (32 per cent).

· The ring makes a difference: 14 per cent of people confide in their spouse. Only 1 per cent choose a boyfriend/girlfriend.

· Work is not the preferred place to dish dirt. Only 1 per cent of Canadians choose colleagues to share their deepest secret.

· Canadians trust their parents with their secrets at 11 per cent. Few trust their kids, with only 1 percent choosing a child to keep a secret.

· Almost no one trusts their hairstylist to keep a secret.

· It’s a true battle of the sexes: men find men more trustworthy and women say they confide in women more often.

· In general, Canadians trust men more than women (57 per cent vs. 43 per cent) but as we get older, our trust in women increases.

I know that I can only keep a secret if its a matter of life and death or if it will really hurt someone if I tell. Sadly I love to gossip and can't help but spilling the beans. Usually I will only tell someone who doesn't know the person or the situation but I just cave under pressure :( Sorry folks, don't tell me your deep dark secrets! I have to say though for $125,000.00 I think I could do it, maybe!

Koo & Poppet

Brandon loves carrying around his dolly's and stuffies. He loves them, kisses them, puts them to bed, and tells us to shhhh when they are sleeping. He loves to take them to bed with him and cuddle them on the couch. Of course this is when he isn't running around like a crazy little boy ;)

I love finding handmade things, they are so unique and one of a kind. I love having something that I know nobody else has the exact same one. There is nothing like going out and seeing your child's toy or outfit with 3 other kids. I had been eyeing up the stuffies from Koo & Poppet for a while, read on to see why!

Koo & Poppet is a designer line of handmade misfit creatures and other soft objects for children of all ages. They sent Brandon a cute little bear called Baxter. He Likes: speed demons and Dislikes: slow pokes. Baxter is handmade using natural wools and a beige linen with a blue and red car design. He has a blue bow on his bottom. Although this is a very safe plush toy for children, this cute bunny is meant for gentle play as some details are hand stitched. Baxter would also add a decorative element to any room.

Brandon loves Baxter and I know he will be with our family for a long long time. Koo & Poppet makes bears and bunnies and are going to be revamping their bears in the next month or two. Once they are all done we are going to do a giveaway! Are you excited? I am! Keep checking back and we should have it up for you in August!

Show Us The Real ‘U’ In Uniform

I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about this great contest that is going on right now! Get your kids involved and get writing!

French Toast (www.frenchtoast.com), a leading provider of school uniforms, this week launched a $15,000 contest in which kids who attend a school that has a dress code can show the world what makes them unique and special.

The contest is titled, “Show Us The Real ‘U’ In Uniform,” and it is designed to provide a forum for kids to express their individuality. Kids and their parents can enter the contest by visiting www.uinuniform.com and following the instructions regarding submitting a video or essay along with pictures. The final day to submit an entry is September 15.

On November 1, French Toast will be posting the 10 finalists and the public will be able to vote for the grand prize winner – who will win $10,000 in cash and their school will receive $5,000 in vouchers from French Toast. The grand prize winner will be announced on November 30.

More than 1 in 5 public schools now have a dress code, and that’s on top of the many private, parochial and charter schools that have dress codes! Does your school have a dress code? Kristina's school doesn't but they definitely have guidelines that you have to follow. No flip flops until Grade 4, no showing your stomach, and I believe nothing sleeveless. Of course no hats is a big one too!

This is a great contest that you can really get your kids involved in and it doesn't just benefit your child, it will really help out their school too!

Fathers Day

Fathers Day is coming.....soon! Have you started thinking about what your going to get for the father in your life. Your father or your husband, father in law or even your single mother. I have definitely started thinking about what to get, and I think I have even decided but can't spill the beans here about what I have decided.

Some suggestions he has given me are a new Wii game, camping equipment, a new mattress, or even a new mattress topper (our mattress is awful) and sleep. He usually is the one getting up with the kids, even if he gets up and then I get up a bit later and he goes back to bed. I almost never get up with them, they are up at about 6 so that would be huge for him.

What man wouldn't want a new flat screen TV, a weekend away, a new laptop or a game of golf, golf equipment or night out with the guys! Check out Overstock.com for some great ideas!

What are you getting someone for Fathers Day this year? Have you decided yet?

Coupons!!

Do you love coupons as much as I do? I love using coupons, from the newspaper, flyers, online and more. If you want to know more about using coupons and how to get more from them check this out!

Good 4 you and Planet 2 with a giveaway **Closed**

Good 4 You And Planet 2 is a new company, just getting started! We are an environmentally friendly company, promoting the use of organic, natural and green products from companies in North America and around the world. We are located in Hinton Alberta, The Gateway to the Canadian Rockies!

Good 4 you and Planet 2 is a green online site that really rocks out the green products. They carry things for the whole family. They have everything from dish soap and laundry detergent, to energy bars and protein shakes. Its a great one stop shop that you can get all of your family's needs from.

We got to try out the Seventh Generation 2X Ultra Natural Laundry Detergent in Blue Eucalyptus & Lavender. Its such a nice light scent, which is the first thing that I notice. Its all natural as well but I already knew that about it. It washes everything up great and a little goes a long ways. If you have tried out 7th Generation before you should check it out, they make some great green products. I have been trying to switch it up from buying my usual to buying a more green laundry soap because it just goes straight down the drain and right into our earth.

We also got to try out some of the just for kids products by Jason and they was great. The shampoo and conditioner smell so good and work great. Kristina doesn't need much to do her hair properly either and she has a lot of hair. I love that it will last us a nice long time. The toothpaste was a big hit with Brandon but not Kristina. As much as she doesn't like the mint toothpaste I guess she is used to it now because she doesn't like the flavors, strawberry or orange. Brandon loved it though and now asks to brush his teeth all throughout the day. The hand soap was nice too. It smells good and makes a good lather, they don't carry that anymore though. I also feel good knowing that all of these products are natural and safe for my family.

Good 4 you and Planet 2 has offered up a Soy Scent package which would include a bubble bar, soy candle, massage bar and bath bomb to one lucky winner
