Mommy Pads and More offer several fun and stylish designs of personalized notepads, stationery, stamps and necklaces. They make the perfect gift for new moms, teachers, housewarming, hostess, wedding...the possibilities are endless. And why not, treat yourself to one too! All products allow for change in color and design so make it your own!

Kristina got a great pad! It is a kids pad and so funky, Kristina was thrilled when she got it! She loves to write me little notes and draw with it. She loves that it has her name on it and the style suits her so well!

Eco wall art with Giveaway **Closed**

I love wall art! I am addicted to it like I am shoes! The only thing is that eventually you have no where left to put wall art unlike shoes ;)

The only thing that concerns me about wall art is the chemicals that are in it. That's where Greenie2Steps comes in. They print on fabric with eco-friendly, water-based Eco-Sol™ inks then protect the wall art with safe, water-based laminates and coatings. The adhesive that allows you to remove and re-apply the wall art hundreds of times is also water-based.

I love knowing that the art on his wall won't be hurting him because I do everything that I can do protect my kids from anything that could hurt them.

The Greenie2Steps whimsical wall art can be applied to virtually any clean and smooth surface including walls, ceilings, windows and more! When backlit, the art becomes semi-transparent, so solid colored surfaces are optimal but not required for application. If it ever gets dirty, the art can be easily cleaned with water.

Greenie2Steps has some adorable wall art! They have art prints, giant postcards, murals, and stickups. They come in all sorts of sizes and with some adorable jungle animals! They have two elephants, a giraffe, a lion and a tiger! I love them all but when I showed them all to Brandon he kept pointing at the giraffe so we got that one. He loves it. He has been going up to it everyday and talking to it, its so cute I just wish I knew what he was saying :)

Greenie2Steps has offered up a TellyGreen postcard to one winner along with a 20% off coupon code! Use code FUNANDFUNKY for 20% off untill April 30th 2010!

Do the Robot! **Closed**

MacKenzie Grant Fairhead is the Inventor/Seamstress for her shop, Cal and Bram! She creates one of a kind, amazing, and of course fun clothes for kids who love robots! Robots are fun, all kids can get into them, boys or girls. She creates, bibs, t shirts, hoodies, blankets, dresses and more. You can even get it personalized just the way you want it.

Cal and Bram sent us a robot t shirt and hoodie for Brandon. The detail in them is amazing. They are not pre made t shirts with her putting on the robot, she makes these from scratch. Its easy to tell what an amazing seamstress she it. It even looks like all of the robot pieces are sewn together first and then sewn onto the shirt after so its really secure. We have washed it a few times and its been great. The size is bang on and Brandon loves them! The hoodie even has a smaller robot on the back, I love that kind of detail, hoodies are usually so boring on the back.

The items at Cal and Bram go up to a 6t and can take up to 3 weeks to be shipped out as MacKenzie isn't a robot herself so it takes time to sew them all up. All garments are pre-shrunk. Her felt is Eco-Fi, made from recycled products. Machine washable, dryer dryable!!

Another fun thing about the robots is they all have names. They all come with a little tag that tells you all about your new robot. They have a name and hobbies and favorite things to do.

Cal and Bram has even offered up any item in their shop (including customization if you want) to one lucky winner!

Speesees with Giveaway **Closed**

what's does speesees mean, anyways?
s-p-e-e-s-e-e-s is the way a baby would spell 'species', if a baby could spell. inspired by our animal, plant, and human speesees, the line originally began in 2003 with a series of phonetically-spelled animal species ('chik, 'kid, 'see hors, 'pup, je' raf), featuring an animal speesees on the front of a garment and its phonetic pronunciation on the back.
and as do all speesees, we've since evolved.

Speesees makes some of the most viberant and fun organic clothing I have yet to come across. While reading their "about me" page I read all about how Rachel grew up and how she turned out the way she did. It was really neat! She grew up with "crunchy" type parents with not the most fun childhood and went to a ranch at 9 for the summer and got to spend time with kids just like her and grew to love herself! You should check it out, its great!

We got a few items from Speesees to try out and we are loving them. They are sized great and so so soft. I love puting Brandon is comfy clothes and the yoga pants are awsome. So comfy and have a very good weight to them without being to heavy! The colors are amazing and fun, we have been compliments on them everywhere!

There is so much to choose from at Speesees. So many different peices that you can mix and match together and they go up to a size 4! I love them, they are even reasonable priced, especially considering they are organic! I will definetly be getting more!

Speesees has generously offered up rainbow o tees set to one lucky winner

The Gifted Sparrow with giveaway **Closed**

Just as the sparrows of the air have a special purpose, so do each of us have a special gift! How wonderful are all things handmade?! Each item I create is unique and the imperfections of being handmade is actually what makes them so "perfect"! All things can be custom designed to your liking!
The Gifted Sparrow is an Etsy shop with some really cool things! Everything is handmade, like all things on Etsy and she can even customize something for you if you don't see quite what you want!

Laurie just opened up shop in December and is slowly adding to her stock and adding new items. So her stock may look low but its going to get bigger and don't forget you can request specific things from her as well!

The Gifted Sparrow sent us the spotted giraffe. Brandon was all over it when we got it. Its just the right size for him and the long neck is great to hang onto and to hug. He loves this giraffe. You can definitely see that Laurie is an experienced sewer. There is one seam that is finished on the outside because that's where she stuffed it but its finished quite nicely.

If you want to win a stuffie from The Gifted Sparrow now is your chance!

The Good Planet with Giveaway **Closed**

The Good Planet Company celebrates the planet and all that Mother Earth has to offer!

The Good Planet Company was founded by Alain St.Onge and Ian Cromack, who, in 2001, decided to quit their jobs and put their reputations as Treehuggers, Granola Crunchers and wide eyed optimists to good use by creating a values-led business, featuring an exciting range of earth-friendly, organic products.

The company continues to evolve and innovate, moving in 2008 to a larger, brighter, main street location, ensuring that it's product lines are continually refreshed and improved. With seven people now on staff, the entire Good Planet team invites you to drop by the store in beautiful downtown Victoria for a warm welcome, a cup of tea and a browse!

The Good Planet sent us some and Good Planet Baby Aromatherapy Foaming Wash and some Good Planet Baby Calming lotion. They were both great! The foaming wash smelled amazing, but was quite strong so if you don't like to much scent this isn't for you. Its all natural and comes to Victoria already made and then they add all of their own scents. It is a liquid that comes out more foamy and cleans and rinses wonderfully.

The cream was great as well. Went on nice and rubbed in really easily with no greasy hands after. I would definitely love to spend an hour or two wandering around this store in Victoria. They sell everything you need to live your life green.

Build a Bear Workshop

I am sure you have heard of Build a Bear Workshop. Most people with kids have heard of them! Its not just a store where you go to buy a stuffed animal and dress it either, that's what I had thought. We had our first Build a Bear Workshop experience this summer while we were on holidays in Alberta. Kristina has saved up her money for months and wanted a Build a Bear Workshop. She had been talking about it for months. Most of her friends already had a Build a Bear but her. That's just devastating when your 7. The closest store though is an hour and a half away so we don't go often.

I didn't really know what to expect when we went in. I thought we would be a few minutes picking something out and be on our way. We ended up being there for about 45 minutes. So as long as you are expecting it you can plan for it. We had a great time.

First you pick out your animal. There were so many to choose from and they even do cute ones for holidays. For this review Kristina was sent a heart Dalmatian that she named Jewel, it was a special Valentines dog! Then you take it over to the stuffing machine. One of the workers gives you a little heart and you rub it on your heart and tell it what traits you want your animal to have like caring, generosity, and love. You can also add some other things into your animal if you want. Kristina put a real beating heart into her bear we got in Alberta and they sent her Dalmatian with a barking piece in its foot.

Once you have everything in it they stuff it all up for you and you get to take it over to the spa. There is a giant bathtub (without water) and there are all sorts of scrub brushes for you to clean it all up. Now you get to wander around and check out all of the adorable clothes and accessories available for your newest family member. They have everything you can imagine. The usual clothes, dresses, pants, shirts, Harley Davidson stuff, ballgowns, jewelry, and so much more!

Once you have everything you need you get to go over to the computers and go online to name your newest baby! A birth certificate prints out and you are good to go. You can even go online when you get home and play with your new friend in a virtual world. On another note you can also do birthday parties at Build a Bear Workshop. I have seen them happening when in there and they really look like a lot of fun, especially if you have a birthday in the winter when its yucky outside!

Check out this great program Build a Bear Workshop is putting on:

Today, more than ever, young people are stepping up to make a difference in communities near and far. Build-A-Bear Workshop®, the innovator and leader of the make-your-own stuffed animal concept for mall-based retailing, has taken a leading role in recognizing efforts of young people to help those in need through its Huggable Heroes® program — a North American-wide recognition program that recognizes, honours and rewards kids who demonstrate extraordinary service in their communities and around the world. The seventh annual search for these special people, ranging in age from eight to 18, is now on!

Build-A-Bear Workshop is now searching for more incredible Canadian children to be named the 2010 Huggable Heroes. Now through February 26, 2010, anyone can nominate a candidate (and kids can nominate themselves) by visiting buildabear.com/huggableheroes or by picking up an entry form at any Build-A-Bear Workshop store across Canada.

This year, Build-A-Bear Workshop will recognize 10 Huggable Heroes, two will be selected from Canada, by an independent judging panel. Each will receive a prize worth $10,000 ($7,500 in the form of an educational scholarship from Build-A-Bear Workshop and $2,500 from the Build-A-Bear Workshop Foundation to be donated to the charity of the hero’s choice). In addition, the Huggable Heroes will win a trip for themselves and a parent to St. Louis, the home of Build-A-Bear Workshop World Bearquarters. During their visit, the 2010 Huggable Heroes will meet each other, be honoured for their good deeds, and participate in a photo shoot for the 2011 Build-A-Bear Workshop Huggable Heroes Calendar.

Sprout Baby with Giveaway **Closed**

Sprout Baby's tag line is love your baby, love the planet. Its so true and its something that I have been thinking and doing more about lately. The love the planet part that is. I have always recycled but I have been trying to do more. I try and turn lights out, I only use stainless steel water bottles, and put my kids in organic as much as possible. Cost does become a factor.

At SproutBaby.com, we believe that purchasing healthy, eco-friendly products for your family should be easy and accessible. We began this process by introducing you to Sprout Foods baby food, an amazing new line of organic, gourmet, and shelf-stable baby food, created by celebrity chef (and dad), Tyler Florence. We continue this mission by regularly adding new offerings from companies that we stand behind. Our latest additions include Toys, Diapering, and Home Care. We spend a great deal of our time making sure the products we present to you are the best, the healthiest and the safest alternatives around.

With Brandon's eczema I only put the best organic and natural cream and lotions around. I don't want any extra scent or chemicals that will just irritate his skin and make his eczema worse. Sprout Baby sent us the Episencial Better Body Butter. Its a great lotion. Not greasy and goes on great. You don't need to much and it lasts a long time, you really don't need to keep on reapplying again and again.

Sprout Baby has some excellent customer service and I would love to work with them again in the future. One of you is going to receive the same Episencial Better Body Butter that I got so you can see for yourself! Anyone else can use the discount code SBBL137 for 15% off your order!

Shoefly Shoes with Giveaway **Closed**

I have become very obsessed with buying Brandon only the best footwear I can find. There are a lot of great brands out there and I love a lot of them. I have even reviewed a lot of them on Fun and Funky Mommy. Not all brands are of the same quality and unless you have seen them yourself or have someone you know try them out you just don't know how good they are.

Amanda at Shoefly Shoes has done the work for you. She carries some of the top lines of baby and toddler shoes around. Its great if you have a few lines that you like and so you can save on shipping buy ordering them all from one site. Amanda also has some great sales to check out!

The lines she carries are:

-Jack and Lily
-Little Soles
-Tipsie Toes
-Isabooties
-Morgan and Milo
-Tip Top Joey
-Nowali
-Rileyroos

We received an adorable pair of Rileyroos. The Sporty Tiger in 18-24 months. I have never seen Rileyroos before and was pretty excited to try them out and see how they were. I loved them when I first saw them, they were nice and light, and had some great flex to them. The size was great too. Brandon had some other 18-24 month shoes that were to small and these fit him great.

We did have a problem though. The first day Brandon got them he wanted to wear them right away. While he was in the back of the van he was playing with the laces in them. They are sewn right in as they are just for decoration. Brandon managed to pull the elastic laces right out. They were still wearable but just didn't look quite right. I emailed Shoefly Shoes right away and they had another pair shipped out right away! I love a company who really stands behind their product, and they are in Canada!!

I know you all love shoes as much as I do so Shoefly Shoes has offered up a pair of your choice to one winner!

Eden Fantasys with Giveaway **Closed**

** Warning, this post contains links to a site for adults only! If you are under the age of 18 please move onto another post **

When Eden Fantasys contacted me about doing a review and giveaway about their products I was excited but a bit apprehensive. I was not sure if this was the best type of products to showcase on my site but came to realize that everyone who reads my site is someone who could benefit from their products. Whether you need something to spice up your sex life or something to make it more enjoyable you can get it at Eden Fantasys.

They carry everything from books, to lube, toys and more. They have everything your local sex store carries but you can shop in the privacy of your own home. The shipping was great. I had actually passed it to Kristina to open because I didn't recognize the name on it and once she started opening it I remembered and got her to give it back to me because I didn't want her opening it. Its nice the mailman doesn't know what it is because that's just one less thing to be embarrassed about.

Kris and I got the Kama Sutra Honey dust and Liquid Silk lubricant. I have looked at the Kama Sutra Honey dust many times before and wanted to try it. Its really dusty :) It came in a plastic bag and I just dumped it into the container and it was very dusty, but hey its called Honey Dust. It smells and tastes great and goes on so nicely with the feather.

The Liquid Silk is a water based lubricant which is nice so its not all slimy and sticky like so many others. I liked that its in a pump bottle and looks just like hand lotion so it can be on the nightstand without looking like something inappropriate. A little bit definitely goes a long way and did not stain my sheets! Yaaa! At only $15.99 this is definitely a great deal.

Did something catch your eye at Eden Fantasys? Well they have offered up a $25 gift card to one lucky winner.

Lalabee Bathworks with Giveaway **Closed**

Here's a little bit from their site:

Our goal is starting Lalabee Bathworks was to provide an affordable organic alternative to baby and mommy skincare.

Lalabee Bathworks manufactures organic skincare products for Mommy & Baby. All our line is made in Canada using certified organic and natural ingredients. We make everything in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. Because our products are preservative free, we recommend a shelf life of one year. We buy local as much as possible and have visited some of the local farms where our ingredients come from.We strive to be an environmentally responsible company. One of our biggest concerns was picking out packaging for our products. We use recyclable tins, glass and biodegradable cellulose.

Lalabee Bathworks does not test on animals and are members of PETA. A portion of our proceeds are donated to Heifer International Honeybees. We signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics and our products can be found on the Cosmetic Database.

We were sent the Bottom Balm. Its a great diaper rash salve. We have not used it much on Brandon's bum because hes mostly naked while we are potty training. It's great to find something that is rated so low on the Cosmetic Database. Just because a product is organic doesn't mean that it will rate well on the Cosmetic Database. One of the highest rating baby shampoos was organic! And its made right here in BC in Kelowna!

Back to the Bottom Balm. We have been using this on cuts and scrapes and its working great. I love that you can use this product for so many different things. Especially made for sensitive skin with organic herbs of calendula, chamomile and lavender, all known for their healing properties. Its also good for chapped and dry skin and so much more.

Lalabee Bathworks has offered up another Bottom Balm for one lucky reader

Kushies

I would think that every mom out there has heard of Kushies or Kooshies as it used to be known as. They make everything from clothing to cloth diapers, receiving blankets, to rain wear, training pants to bibs. If you haven't heard of Kushies I am sure you have seen them! Kushies items are made with memorable prints that are used on everything in their line are very recognisable.

Kushies originally started up in 1953 selling doll clothing and accessories to major Canadian department stores under the name Kooshies. They were bought out by Sam Perez and Susan Malinowski in 1988 and began selling their 100% cotton cloth diapers and trademarked their names Kooshies. After just over a year they became the industry leader in Canada, with sales exceeding initial projections tenfold. Their market was also expanding into the United States at this time. Since 1990 Kooshies has grown to become a market leader in more than 35 countries around the world.

In 2003 they changed the name to Kushies. They are now located in Niagara Falls, New York and the Stoney Creek Ontario location houses state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and over 200 staff. A meticulous inspection standard for the ever-expanding product lines, which currently stands at over 350 baby products, ensures the continuation of the company's high quality standards and continuing popularity. And everything is still made in Canada!

For review we received two training pants to try out. I was pretty excited for them to come as we are really working on potty training Brandon. He started on his own a few months ago and we are just really working on making it happen all of the time and rewarding when it does happen. He will be 2 on the 19th and we were hoping he would be done by his birthday but you can't really put a 2 year old on a timeline when they are the ones in control.

Back to the training pants. They are the cheapest I have seen for good quality reusable training pants. They are made with 100% cotton and have a waterproof attached cover that is free of all chemicals so its safe for your child. So its all one piece, holds the mess and still lets your child feel wet so they don't enjoy it and try harder to make it next time. They will save you lots of money. We used disposable training pants with Kristina and they were awful. Absorbed like a diaper and cost twice as much. Don't forget about how much more garbage disposables create as well. Reusable is so much better on the environment.

The training pants were true to size, easy for Brandon to get on and off, and come in some adorable prints. We are loving our training pants. We use them almost everyday. They are great for when we go to my parents house or anywhere other than home for that matter and don't want Brandon running around naked. He will still stop and go potty with the training pants, almost as much as he does when hes naked.

If you are already a fan of Kushies or are new to them check out their site, they have a great new line of organic products!

Enter to win a DYSON!!! **Closed**

Did I really just say that? I have been waiting a few months to say that, and it feels so good! Dyson was kind enough to send me a DC24 All Floors to review a few months ago and agreed to also do a giveaway! Read on to find out how you can win a pink one for yourself!!!

I was so excited for my Dyson to come and expected it to take a long time, but it came in less than a week! I had even swept my entire house the day before because I wasn't expecting it to come so fast. I was excited to put it together and vacuum right away so I abandoned whatever it was that I was doing and got down to work on putting it together.

I assumed that it would come in lots of pieces but it only came in 4 pieces and was a cinch to put together. You just attach the bottom brush bar, insert the handle, and put the attachment in its holder. It took me about 5 minutes because I didn't read the instructions and couldn't get the handle to go it, I was putting it in backwards.

Once it was together I got to work on vacuuming. Like I said I swept the whole house the day before so I wasn't expecting to pick up a lot. My house is small, two bedroom, one bath, and a finished attic. Its all tile and wood other than my bedroom so I used to only sweep every other day and then vacuum my room once in a while.

It was a little weird at first to vacuum with the ball when I was used to a big old heavy vacuum. After the first few times of vacuuming I was totally used to it and would never go back to a four wheeled vacuum. I was amazed at home much dirt and hair and dust it picked up since I had only swept the day before. I really wasn't expecting it to pick up much.

It is so easy to empty the canister, you just push a button and it detaches itself from the main part of the vacuum. You just take it over to the garbage and push the button again and it all dumps out. You can even remove the whole case around it and clean it all out even more if you want. I do that every few weeks.

The only maintenance that you do with the Dyson is washing the filters. I was nervous about doing it the first time but it really is quite simple. You open up the ball to remove that filter, and the other one is on top of the canister. They come out no problem and you just take them to the sink and run water through them and tap out all of the dirt and grease. Leave them to dry and then you can put them back in and you only need to do it once a month or so.

It was very easy to fit under my cupboards and great for maneuvering under the kitchen table and around all of my chairs. One feature that I love about it is that the handle comes off with the push of a button and you flip it around and reattach it upside down and it turns into a long wand that I use for reaching behind my TV, getting cobwebs off of the roof, behind the washer and dryer, and more.

I love that there are no bags to buy for Dyson's vacuums and that they are guaranteed for 5 years! If I am going to invest in a vacuum I want to know that the company is going to stand behind their product. A friend of mine actually had to send her Dyson back for repairs recently . She said you can really tell a good company when they already have your money and they still have great service and respect for their clients. I believe that Dyson truly is a great company.

I have loaned out my Dyson to a few people so far, everyone wants to try it! My one girlfriend needed it to clean her rugs because she has a dog that sheds a lot and her vacuum just doesn't get all of the hair out. She was very impressed. She has purchased so many vacuums and none of them do a very good job with the dog hair embedded in the carpet. I have had to take it back over a few more times so she can keep redoing her rugs.

I have had 3 or 4 vacuums in my life so far and haven't liked any of them for more than a few weeks. The suction doesn't work as well as when its new, they smell, and they blow the dirt around instead of picking it up. I have no complaints about my Dyson and in 10 or so years when it finally breaks down I will be buying another! The Dyson picks up everything and even has a HEPA filter and is certified Asthma and allergy friendly!

In October Dyson decided to contribute $50,000 to CBCF (Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.) In part of this this made and sold two pink Dyson vacuums. The DC25 Ball Upright and the DC23 Moterhead Canister. To date the James Dyson Foundations has donated over $2 million dollars to Breast Cancer Research.

Dyson has offered one of my readers their choice of one of their Breast Cancer pink vacuums. Your choice of the DC25 Ball Upright or the DC23 Moterhead Canister!

T-Shirt Monster with Giveaway **Closed**

T-Shirt Monster is a Canadian company started to give people the opportunity to help design their own clothing. You can go onto t-shirt monster and pick from the designs they have there and add your own little bit of spunk to it or create your own from scratch!

You start out by going to the design studio and picking what piece of clothing you are going to design. There are t- shirts, short and long, hoodies, and men's, ladies, youth and baby sizes. You then choose your design, choose where you want it, choose the colors of the design and shirt, and more!

We got a t-shirt from T-Shirt Monster for Brandon. I choose a pre-made design with a tractor on it for him because he loves our tractor. I got the t-shirt in light blue and the design is mostly green. You can choose all of the colors if you choose a pre-made design or like I said you can do your own design!

There are thousands of different designs to choose from if you are not feeling to creative and then its easy to make it your own. The T-shirt Monster has a huge selection of designs for Valentines Day. They actually have designs for all holidays but Valentines Day is coming up!

Back to the shirt I got for Brandon. The shirt was made from a good quality 100% cotton tee and was a great size. It only shrunk a little bit but was still a generous fit. The design on the shirt was a bit stiff when I first got it but not anywhere near as stiff as the ones you buy in stores. This shirt was sprayed in a chemical before it was shipped and washed out in the first wash. The washing instructions were cold wash and hang to dry but I can't be bothered to hang my kids clothes so I threw it in the dryer. It says that the design will fade a lot faster if it goes in the dryer but I can't remember to hang dry everything. It still looks as good as new and we are very happy with it.

T-Shirt Monster has offered up a great giveaway! They have offered 5 of my readers $25 gift certificates!

To Enter:

Go to the T-Shirt Monster design lab and design a shirt and then email it to T-Shirt Monster. The funniest 5 designs will win!
